If you want to use your professional knowledge, you could offer one short session, create one simple resource or speak to a few people who may need your help.
A small test can help you find out:
Whether people understand your idea
Whether it solves a genuine problem
Whether anyone would be prepared to pay for it
What potential customers really want
What may need to change
Whether you enjoy delivering it
Testing an idea isn’t about proving that it is perfect. It is about learning before you invest too much time or money.
Explore The Idea Without Putting Yourself Under Pressure
Not every idea needs to become a business, and exploring an idea doesn’t mean you have to follow it through.
You may decide to start small, test it again, make some changes or leave it to develop for a while. You may even decide that the idea isn’t right for you.
Every one of those outcomes is useful because it helps you make a clearer decision.
